2 Regulatory Compliance
AMWAL ALRAQAMIA LLC operates as a Payment Service Provider under the regulations of the Central Bank of Oman (CBO). All our services adhere to the legal and regulatory framework set by CBO.
3 Services Provided
3.1 APG - AMWAL Payment Gateway Services
We facilitate various types of transactions, including Card and Wallet Transactions, through our APG - AMWAL Payment Gateway
3.2 Merchant Registration
Merchants are registered under AMWAL ALRAQAMIA LLC's main account with the Central Bank of Oman.
3.3 Applications
3.3.1 Merchant App
A cross-platform application used by merchants to accept card and wallet transactions, as well as to track their transactions
3.3.2 Checkout Page
An online payment solution offering seamless integration for merchants to accept payments.
3.3.3 Merchant API/Webhook Integration
Allows merchants to integrate and automate payment processes with APG - AMWAL Payment Gateway.
3.3.4 SoftPOS Solution
Enables merchants to accept NFC transactions through a software-based point-of-sale system.
3.4 Transaction Types
3.4.1 National Payment Scheme Transactions
Processed through OmanNet payment gateway and MPCSS (Mobile Payment Clearing and Switching System).
3.4.2 International Card Scheme Transactions
Supported through Visa/Cybersource.
3.4.3 Mobile Payment Options
Transactions can be made using Apple Pay and Samsung Pay
4 Merchant Obligations
Merchants must ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including those set by the Central Bank of Oman. Merchants are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their transactions and must maintain the confidentiality and security of their account credentials.
5 Settlement Process
5.1 Timing
APG - AMWAL Payment Gateway ensures settlement of funds to merchants within 48 hours from the settlement time applied by the Central Bank of Oman or Visa/Cybersource
5.2 Deductions
Settlement amounts are processed after deducting applicable fees and VAT.
6 Fees and VAT
Merchants agree to pay the applicable fees for the services provided by APG - AMWAL Payment Gateway. VAT will be applied as per the prevailing tax laws.
7 Security and Data Protection
AMWAL ALRAQAMIA LLC employs industry-standard security measures to protect transaction data. We do not store card details, and we comply with PCI DSS standards to ensure the highest level of security.
8 Limitation of Liability
AMWAL ALRAQAMIA LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use our services. Our liability is limited to the amount of the transaction in dispute.
9 Amendments
AMWAL ALRAQAMIA LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website.
10 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any disputes arising out of these terms will be resolved in the jurisdiction of the courts of Oman.
